I just with my set didn't suck...

6-6-6-20 @ 1720 1.71v is the max for these, already did 4 days of drive strength and stability testing.

Thinking of selling these and scrapping up the money for the Super Talent 2000 C7...
hmm can't peek in that far under heatspreader LOL

could be your AMD platform holding it back too ?

im about to buy a kit,so if anyone knows for sure let me know ok?thanks
From http://i4memory.com/f83/super-talent...00-cas8-23675/ several folks emailed/phoned ewiz seems super talent 2000c8 is MNH-E Hyper, 2200c8 is MGH-E hypers

CAS6 scaling of my 2200C8 are pretty close but just behind Dominator GTX2 reported by youngpro at http://i4memory.com/f83/ram-cooling-analysis-22963/ and my Kingston 2000c8

i was thinkng the same thing with the 2200's and buying the extra stick
but my only worry is that the one stick happens to suck ass
so i think i will just go the 3x2 kit and just live with 2000 speeds
woth it for the price of 215

my other option is the G.Skill perfect storm 3x2 ddr3-2133 cl9's

have you looked at the actual IC's by any chance?how does your kit OC?
    my 3 kits of 2200c8, one kit 900mhz 6-6-6-20 1t at 1.7v the other 2 kits 894mhz 6-6-6-20 1t at 1.7v so pretty close not as good as kingston 2000c8 or james' corsair dominator gtx2 @925mhz 6-6-6-20 at 1.74v

Jaw-breaking results as always George. Every time I see one of your threads, I just know it is going to be awesome Can't wait for some high voltage SPi 32M CL6 & CL7 action!

Could you please test 32M 6-6-6 and 7-7-6 at around 1.85V?
Thanks, it helps to have i7 980X though hehe although IMC ain't as good as my 3845 batch bloomfields which have much higher air/water uncore frequency capability in 4400+ mhz range for 32m pi.

I haven't pushed such high vdimm since my old original SKU Corsair Dominator GT but since that kit died haven't pushed more than 1.8v as the new stuff seems to clock better with just <1.8v. With i7 980X i'm limited by uncore frequency below 1.55v cpu vtt uncore ceiling is around 4220mhz so not necessarily will scale with just shoving vdimm as you'd know. So lucky i7 980x has lower 1.5x ratio requirements to keep cpu vtt a tad lower hehe.

The Corsair GTX2 do ~1880 6-6-6-18 with 1.70v on AMD...my ram isn't really what I expected, I would have liked at least 1800.

i was wondering, and choosing a new set of RAM for my EP45T-USB3P, i need ot know which of the linked models have elpida hypers and how i would know for future purchases what have hypers and don't.(also which is the better buy)

is it the UX in the model number that determines its an elpida hyper?
