That little chip is the BIGGEST possible profit margin LSI could ever think of. I mean how much to manufacture that tiny thing? A few dollars per unit at most? Amazing stuff these companies think of. I just hope this greedy idea doesn't move on to other hardware items, like hard drives, motherboards or CPU's. What a rip..... sorry for the rant, but Im still amazed they are actually getting away with this. That thing should be $20 max... lol
