nice oc mate now lest see with some vmods
This is exactly what I have been waiting for! I knew there were boards out there capable of that! Very nice mate! Looks like im of to see if my board can do that too did 230 last time I tried, and that was the mem setting the limit

AN7 is rock solid at FSB 240 out of box (with no modify at all), I use the stock BIOS,... but VDD just hold me back, I can't go more than that... needed VDD mod soooooo bad...
that's one mobo out of something like 10K that cross the 200fsb ... wow ....
Abit Mobo's Are piece of S^#T !!!!!
and the HELL N 7 is one of the worst ever ... - great job out there , A BIT WORKING ....

Orak, I don't know about ur problem there, but I 've try some other AN7 board, and work the same just like it,... no modify, no Vmod,... but I need it, Vmod to take more than 250FSB,..
mine did 220 stable. 225 SORTA stable. more than that corrupted hdd and didnt work.Originally posted by Orak

yes i have AIM, yes you can send me a message. EvilSpork3 i dare you.
If you only want to barf, do it elsewere! Give the guy some credit instead of vomiting all over his thread! And the AN7's aren't that bad, remember NF7-S rev1? The newer ones are actually pretty good, I've seen atleast 5 over 240 stable single channel and about 10 well over 230 stable dualchannel so just keep quiet!Originally posted by S&M

hyem: The VDD mod for the AN7 is the same as the one for the DFi Infinity. good luck with getting 250 stable

@S&M thanks I've take it as a compliment,... I'll go for it,..
@Dominos Thanks bro, I'll try it soon (DFI VDDmod) and post some update, hope it's goes better,... Thanks,.. and I'll try to do Dirty-punk VDimm mod for my AN7 (as NF7 way)
Why did you stuck at 220 ? I have the same board here I guess, and I've try to do it with some other 2 AN7 board, and it's all rock stable at 240,.. Have U guys try to update AN7 tictac BIOS... ?
btw, my NF7 Goes prime at 240x10 but it was full of Vmod (waiting for VTT mod to go more) :-)
Prime again and again for hour my XP 1700+ It's totally Rock at 243x10 on AN7:
first boot at 232, I use clockgen to mak it 243 (real time clock) and it's still prime until now,..

Why the heck are you using small FFTs to test high FSB? Select Custom and select FFT size from 1024 to 4096. This tests RAM/Chipset only.

The old prime you have only tests the CPU. The small FFT size DOES NOT test any ram as it fits into L1 cache of the CPU. You definetely need to update your prime if you intend to test memory with it

240 prime stable single channel loose timings isnt that impressive.
Hell, dual channel tight timings can be done on infinities @ 240 pretty commonly.
Only the stupidest humans believe that the dogma of relative filth is a defense.
Lithan,.. I'll try Dual chanel and agressive timing, but what can I do,.. I haven't got my BH-6 Back (my friend borow it) and VDimm Voltage only 3.2V, mine here only ADATA Vitesta PC4000,.. I'll try BH-6 soon,... with Vmoded AN7,.. hope it can prime 250 and more,.. (btw, I do prime at 248) and it's all with air cooled,...
so I take it you are running the Adata PC4000@ cas3.0-4-4-11@ SCDDR@ 249FSB. Nice FSB oc'ing. Obviously your board is liking the Adata memory stick a lot. The member "Dirty Punk" also achieved very high FSBs with his Adata stick at lose timing.
plizz post superPi or hexus piFast and let's see the performance.
I don't know if you're looking for the FSB oc'ing pleasure or you are looking for the pure adrenalin-pumping performance of the system. I personally go with the pure performance, not high FSBs with weak settings. I don't mean to rain your parade but I feel the need to say this. Some newbies will come in here and read this. They gonna think the Abit AN7@ 250FSB is achivable and really perform like a 250FSB 128bit DC FastDecode 2-2-2-x performance. It's not misleading for me, but could be very misleading for new commers(no i'm not talking about you, but others)

still gotta give propsto that AN7... but i like my dfi infinity, 240fsb Sync 100% stable, i've gone as far as 255 but my bh-5 needs more volts past 240, and i cant give it any more without a vmod.
Çégh hyem nice oc. Very good indeed. Unfortunately the CPU interface is Disabled, so your benchmarks want give u any good performance
Thanks,...You're right guys its just a high FSBs with a weak settings cos it was the only one Ram that I have, I have no BH-6 that time,... btw it's still surprise me, coz I don't think that AN7 can do that,.... without any mod, but it does,... soo I just take my board off and continue do some test again with NF7, my AN7 just take a rest for some vmod now,... wait for me to take a ride with AN7 Vmoded,... I'm still workin on it,... thanks guys,...
