I can run at 60 until about 2200........not fond of doing reviews with results that can't be acchieved by avg joe so left auto.

Hey chew I was hoping to ask you a favor if not too much trouble. Could you run the BOINC benchmark with that memory at 1000mhz 7-7-7-20 and again at 1200mhz 8-8-8-24 same cpu speed obviously. Thanks, looking to build the ultimate cruncher and I don't know which kit to go with. I currently have the dom gt 7-8-7-20 2000mhz kit.

you have an imc that can do 2400 on air water for 24/7 or do you plan to run boinc 24/7 on Dry ice?

If you guys had a chance to get 6GB of these sticks for $475, would you guys do it???

I will likely be picking up another 2GB for a complete 8GB, but I figure right now this is a decent price for it.

Gonna be used for an AMD system. With memory prices the way they are I figured this was a pretty decent deal and I want to get the best for my next rig.

Sadly it's not much good for anything but show.

Ganged is equivalent to running a B2B cas delay IMHO unless you run up to say 2100+ at 7-7-6 and even then you take hits in certain apps.

7-7-6 2000 unganged is faster than ganged 6-7-6 @ 2000 in 32m by a good 8 seconds. All that performance per clock testing stuff belongs in another thread though.

Do you want Lucid ? Or is it just the Extreme name that makes the board better for you ?
Question : Why do some overclockers switch into d*ckmode when money is involved

Remark : They call me Pro Asus Saaya yupp, I agree

Comparing the layouts of the Formula and the Extreme, I prefer the Extreme. Not to mention the power handling on the Extreme is better than the Formula from looking at the boards without their heatsinks.

Lucid is nice, so that is an added bonus; but the main reason I am waiting for the Extreme is due to the board layout and the supposed better OC'ing ability.
