CPU score doesn't carry that much weight in Vantage when its higher than the GPU score. If the top score is on LN2 and he's on air I doubt he can beat their score.
It'll be interesting to see the result though!

Top 260 score is ln2 on cpu for the 45k and the card is on air so I'm sure he can

The 192 and 216 shaders cards each have their own category. The link above is for the 192 and his clocks aren't that great, I mean its only on air.

MM, could you run Sisoft Sandra? Use a 64bit OS it should help. You can probably get a nice WR cup for us with the SR-2.

Did you try to max out your card? You should come a lot closer to the record at least.

We finished 3rd, Ryba & Chaos won.
My bad chip luck struck again our CPU and one another had CB at -95°C, other two teams were benching at -120°C.
I never had an i7 CPU that could bench colder than -100°C.

Sorry to hear that. I guess there was nothing you could do about it though.

meh, had some bad luck today, trying cinebench 11.5 for a contest, but the FXTA-UD5 just cant bench it properly. like the initial load is to much or something, really dont understand. the C4F could bench it 400/500mhz higher, but didnt really get it any higher. so screw cinebench, im using the remaining LN2 for my 1090T.

Prepping up for tomorrow, want to bench 1M for a bit, see if it goes any higher, pifast / wprime 32M / and check out 3dmark06 and 3dmark vantage. i have a 5870 in my gamepc that i can torture for a bit on AIR, ill post when i have something obviously!

Sounds like your effeciency is not up to par. Part of it could be the driver you're running. Try W7 32bit and the newest Nvidia driver and see what you get. You should be right around this score, actually higher because his clocks were lower.

Well, with more efficiency you should get at least 10th for that card in vantage with 4 points.

Ah crap, was just on a roll with the 1090T. mem channel got frozen i think, and now cpu wont fire up. going warm it up again, but only have a few more liters left. want to do wprime 32M / pifast and perhaps a fast 06 / vantage run with a stock 5870.
There ( if its still alive ) is some more room left for improvement regarding mhz, only the NB is really crap. doesnt want to go higher then +- 4100mhz , CL6/7 or what ever doesnt matter. tried up to 1.6V, but doesnt seem to scale with that at all, likes lower voltages.

if this mhz HT jump ever gets fixed this is a fun platform, but until then, you cant push hard enough imo
