    AN7 VMOD Find it NOW...!!!

    Everyone say that AN7 is bad,... and NF7 is better than AN7,.. but to day, when I'm tired to mod my NF7, I just try out AN7, and I don't care about what people say,... and it's just surprise me, that AN7 is rock solid at FSB 240 out of box (with no modify at all), I use the stock BIOS,...
    btw I think I stuck at :
    - VDD(1.75) => I need to Vmod it to 1.9V
    - VDIMM(3.2) => I need to Vmod it to 3.6V for my BH-6
    - Why am I stuck at Vcore 1.875 ? I can't go to windows GUI if I use 1.9V and more,...

    soo please let's us try this baby, and find the Vmod for it,...
    If there is anyone here know anything about AN7, please,...
    Is it oke to use Dirty-Punk NF7 VDIMM mod for AN7 ?

    here is my shoot on my AN7,... XP 1700+ at FSB 248x10 with air cooling (Zalman 7000CU + 2x9cm FAN, => amb temp 28 cel), PSA 450W Augem, DDR Adata Vitesta at 11-4-4-3, Rad 9800SE, VCore 1.875, VDimm 3.2, VAGP 1.65, VDD 1.75

    vdd mod there. i foudn this back in october it died as the board sucked.

    your vcore issue is either the board being stupid, or you have a DLT tbred that hates voltage.

    edit: use the vdd mod in the picture. its the same chip in the same place for the AN7 so the mod is the same. i have tested it myself. i ended up butning out the board form it due to stupidity grounded it with no resistor. go me.

    follow that vdd mod and youll be happy.

    Have you tried the L12 mod?

    I like my women the way I like my processors...naked.
    I am not the HellFire that writes bios files. I work strictly on voltage modifications.

    last time i hav 1700 DLT3C 0322XPMw... highest stable vcore for this baby max out @ 1.875V... anything higher than this will lead to systems hangs when i load windows....

    solution... try running windows with APIC mode disable...

    they are the same thing. the lanparty mod is the same as the AN7. for both VDD and vAGP(not 100% sure on vagp but who uses that)

    just look at the pic i posted and do the vdd mod.

    Coz I've try with 2 AN7 Board,.. and it's give me nothing for VDD, someone at VRZone say that I should pop up the "0" ohm resistor near the 6 leg of AN7 VDD chip,.. is it true ?
    Pls,.. help us guys,....
    Thanks B4

    Hello to all,
    I have found this link:

    http://www.vr-zone.com/?i=759&s=1

    Vdimm Mod

    This is a guide to voltage modding your Abit AN7 memory voltage. Although it gives 3.2v maximum, some may crave more.

    Look for the resistor R316 as shown below.

    Unsolder the resistor. Replace it with a 800 to 1K ohms resistor. It can be an SMD resistor, a normal resistor or a variable resistor. Increasing the resistance increases the voltage, so 0 ohms means no increase. Take note that it will only go as high as the 3.3v rail. To get high voltage, you will need to mod your 3.3v rail as well.

    ... for the vagp mod still null...

    nah... no need to remove theresistor...

    just solder a wire to that resistor

    add in trimmer to the wire we just solder

    and ground the other end... set resistance to max

    and lower 5the resitance to increase vdimm voltage

    measure vtt voltage to from pin 2 of dimm connector

    just to make sure it still track 1/2 of vdimm voltage
