I have a problem with R11.5...I have too many restarts and pc downs with R11 at maximum, but its strange, because my friend with 955 has same problem, but with R10. For me, it fails to R11 as much as R10, my firend has tjis problem in reverse (R10 crash and down, R11.5 OK). Help me someone?

my result is chilled water also so If you cant be there Ill have to be taken down also.....i think chilled water and cold air is ok you can do it without any special preperation/altering to the mobo, no dry ice or ln2 or LHe is definitely in another league

    thats definitely specialized cooling
Honestly I don’t have anything that reads the CPU temps outside of the Asus LCD poster and it’s all over the place. I think it reads the MB sensor. I posted earlier that I was running 4.75GHz @1.58V when benching 3D06 but after checking today it was actually 1.57V so my mistake. This Thuban doesn’t like a lot of volts so for me to clock it higher I may need to get it colder. I’m really green at testing this series Phenom II and so far I don’t know a lot about what it likes but I have found some things this Thuban doesn’t like ( at least when installed in this MB).

I have version 1.54 that I use in XP and Vista I just haven't updated the one for Windows 64-bit yet. Thing is version 1.54 in XP and Vista reads the Thuban clocks just like version 1,52. Maybe we need another CPUz update for the Thuban? But yeah I do need to keep the newest one onboard for the SS's.

8 points is very hard for normal watercooling....

I think i will need cold ambient and 4.5GHz at least.

Yes, it's hard. You need about 4.45 - 4.46GHz to get close to the 8pts, and this is with high NB and memory at about 1800 6-6-5-17-22.
1MHz up on the fsb gave me 4480 and ofcourse higher memory frequency and NB, it was not easy to complete the run. It did it after 2-3 freezes.
4460 was fine for running it more than one time, at least I tried 2 and it was still running after that, but the result was the same (7.98)
However with cold air should be easier, and 4.5GHz+ is possible. Speaking about my chip, ofcourse, but yours seems similar.

24/7 stable settings with the Crosshair IV Formula. Processor speed is limited by my memory. I'm using 1333/9-9-9 rated memory. Currently the sticks are running 1720/8-8-8.

Any specific reason everyone is using W7 64bit here? or anyone tried to check out the difference between xp 64bit and W7 64bit? or perhaps even vista 64bit?

probably vista will be the lowest that's why lol
windows 7 is said to be better optimized for mutli core too.
I'm I'm betting the xp version will score highest, then windows 7 and vista will be lowest
