    First tests with my Core I7 980X 439K AM3 Single GPU

    Hi evrybody,

    finaly i'm back in action and with Core I7.
    I worked too hard for 2 week and last week with only eight liters of liquid nitrogen i tested it.

    This isn't the max benchable's frequency, i can increase it a lot but it's a good run.

    Setup:

    CPU = Core I7 980X cooled by k|ngp|n F1
    RAM = Corsair Dominator GTX2 2250 C8
    Mainboard = EVGA Classified X58 4 Way SLI
    Vga = Sapphire 5870 cooled by Ybris ACS-G
    PSU = Corsair HX1000W

    The voltage on the cpu is too high for nothing in the AM3, i can close this with 1.78/1.80 V

    Thks Expat GriZ, now i work with two and four GPU and for cooled with LN2 in single and double vga.

    I need a lot of LN2, i hope to work with 100 Lt next time, unfortunately in my city is more expensive, i pay 67 euros for only 30 Lt

    Wow Marco you are really tearing it up buddy, well done! Have you tested 3DMark06 and especially Vantage? I hope it's a 6GHz 2k6 chip

    @Oj: Hipro will soon be back...

    Hey George, thks

    I need to work around all voltages to increase stability and performance at over 6.2 Ghz, i tested only with this 3d and i didn't have LN2 for 2d or others 3d. But one run for test the cpu at 3d Mark Vantage and can bench over 5900 Mhz easy.
