Id bet depending on the mobo it might be getting overvolted automatically through the mobo. If I set my voltage to lets say 1.4v I might see up to 1.45v if running prime. He should go over the voltages again my 1090T can do prime at 1.4v 4ghz.......didnt let it run for long but its just an example.
