Anyone noticed that number of "pending validation" units is reduced? In my case by half. Some leprechauns over there are doing really good job, especially during this special week![]()

I use both sites but as the team stats tend to use Free-DC most.

I am running a 4.3GHz 980x rig and it crunches like a demon, however im a bit confused about the points that it generates.
When i look up the stats for it right now, it shows the last results returned on the 4th May, which is yesterday UMT. When i saw that i thought i had better check if it had crashed so tonight i check and its still buzzing along splendidly, and i actually watched it uploading a result or two in action.
When i check the Tasks list i find gazzillions of completed tasks at "Ready to Report" status, but these dont seem to be regestering in WCG stats and are certainly not on "Pending Validation" or similar on the website.
Anyone know whats up?
My other machines are working fine and reporting last results from today, just that one machine...![]()
Cheers, worked a treat and i should see a big day's result in the morning![]()
Finally got the last piece for my I7 rig but I need to take down my current rig to set it up
problem is what is the best way to migrate boinc to the new set up without losing any wu's ?

Essentially you can't as far as I know unless the new system will work with all the same drivers,etc..IE:no format needed.
You can just do a "user abort" on the remaining undone work in your queue and start over on the new system.
Now since you already have an account all you'll need to do on the new system is install boinc and when it asks for name and password just use the same ones and all is done.

If you're crunching on Linux (which odds are against, but still) and you're running the generic kernel then the system will just pic up where it left off. You might need to reconfigure the video drivers, but that's it. If you're running something as heavily customised as mine then not so much, but the BOINC folder (if you downloaded it from Berkley) can just be lifted from one machine to another without issue (so long as it's the same architecture ie 32 or 64bit)

ok, i have 3 inconclusive results for HFCC in the past two days on one machine, and I read the OP on this thread and I'm not sure if 3 times in two days counts as "occasionally". Should I be worried?
Main: i7-930 @ 2.8GHz HT on; 1x GIGABYTE GTX 660 Ti OC 100% GPUGrid
2nd: i7-920 @ 2.66GHz HT off; 1x EVGA GTX 650 Ti SSC 100% GPUGrid
3rd: i7-3770k @ 3.6GHz HT on, 3 threads GPUGrid CPU; 2x GIGABYTE GTX 660 Ti OC 100% GPUGrid
Part-time: FX-4100 @ 3.6GHz, 2 threads GPUGrid CPU; 1x EVGA GTX 650 100% GPUGrid
Unless those inconclusives turn into errors I wouldn't be too concerned, and even then not if they didn't cost you a bunch of time. If you KEEP getting incons or errors then you might have an issue.

I have quit HFCC last night as one of my 980x rigs returns error every time on it, but passes all other fine.
Quick question, yesterday around this time of day I made a post to the Milestones thread and stuck Free-DC's stat's tag. in my post . 24 hours later Free-DC and BOINC Stats show the exact same totals as yesterday even though I've been crunching? Both sites tell me I've added points but nothing has gone towards the total points? WCG is accurate though???
The above is exactly the same as yesterday?
John
I've noticed lags in both sites, before as well. For just straight WCG runs I use WCG only. The others will catchup on it. When I'm running something else I usually use Bonic Stats.

The results status list doesn't update in real time. Give it at least 12 hours to be sure.
