I notice there's a 4-pin molex connector on the mobo. What's that for? Do I need to plug in for normal water cooling use? It'll look stupid and bad on cable management to have that 4-pin molex around on that part of the board.

One molex, there´s two, and you probably don´t need to use them with regular single, CrossFireX or SLI GPU configuration only if you intend to do extreme OC with multiple GPU.

The one on middle probably supports PCIe x16_1 and x16_2 and the one at the bottom PCIe x16_3 and x16_4.
