Again, there was a surge in the later part of the day. If the surge continues tomorrow, 16 million should be a piece of cake.
Nice looking graph.

We did 638,248 BOINC points in the most recent quarter-day period. That is HUGE. About a year ago, that's how many points we did in an entire day. This could be the mother of all days for us.![]()

It's funny to see the stats in Boincstats, compared to Easynews:
Credit /month: we've about 33% more than them; /week: almost 90% more; /day (today): a whopping 135% more points returned !!
Easynews is toast !, sooner or later - but that will be soon!
Watercooling since 2005. Primary requirement for any components in my system is 0db: no fans are allowed anywhere. All components are liquid cooled with passive convection. I do not overclock.
The system is just completely rebuilt. If the only fan (PSU) starts to spin, I will cool it with 3M Fluorinert liquid.

the very first posts of this thread got me wondering... if running a farm with no video cards in each system, couldn't you also disable/uninstall pci16x lanes in device manager via remote access and reduce power consumption, along with several other devices? I think it would need to be disabled in bios to actually not receive power though, right?
Or at least make sure PCI Express Link State Power Management is turned on in win7? Im assuming this affects the 16x lane as well?

Why aren't the team stats updating? It's been 24 and a half hours now... Aren't they supposed to update them once every 24 hours? Are we overloading their servers with the results we're returning?![]()

It already startedLet's hope for some good numbers!
Time to shut down my cruncher though
can't sleep with it on in the same room as I'm sleeping. Ordered 50 euros worth of fans though. Should be here tomorrow.
I won't stop till this rig is quiet enough, so I can sleep 2 meters away from it, while it's punching nasty diseases in their faces![]()
Killer job yesterday guys. Sorry to say I had a rig go down during the night. I did get it back up though. Hope it does not hurt too much.
