    Hey Rise.

Been a fan of your commentaries for a while, easily the best ive come across.

The video you made bringing this to our attention is probably the most genuine and touching thing on the internet...Anyway point is im glad to help and will be making a post of my own soon to spread the word and get some more people onboard!

As it happens im just about to start a PHD in physics centred around developing optical computers, so who knows mabey in a few years we will have got some crazy fast CPUs on the market to crunch these numbers :p

Looking forward to the next commentary.

I'm in the middle of revision for my undergrad physics exams at the moment, you dont happen to offer tutoring in-game from starcraft do you? I just know theres a way i can play more and not feel bad about not working

Hi. Registered here and on WCG (XS_kristoffer.kongsvik) as a response to your Charity video. Would probably continue to let my spare computer-power go to waste if it had not been for your video. Thums up.

Signed up Rise! Got WCG up and running on my 2 main PC's at the moment and plan to install it on my old dunger (P4, 256 Megs Ram) today.
I've also posted on my youtube page for everyone to download it.

Keep up the good work with SC2. And keep up with those Nydus worm sounds! :-)

Heck I "upgraded" about a year ago to an E5200 (overclocked it to 3.2 Ghz at least), 4GB of RAM and a 4670 Video card and I was stoked with it!

I still consider it my "Beast" PC lol

Only the best and probably most successful real-time strategy game ever made.

Signed up as soon as I wad the video, Rise. A lot of the things you said felt awfully familiar to me although cancer had nothing to do with it. I still get choked up occasionally when I talk a bit more about it, 10 years after the fact.
Anyway, got a crappy pc that will run this whenever I'm not around - nothing much, but it is still something, right?

i think i may have joined the wrong team..... calling my system extreme is laughable i got through one project after a full day my computer was on doing nothing but crunch lol but slow and steady contribution coming from me just now and hey as long as a computer has starcraft installed then yeah its extreme right?!

    Woo, forum access!

Thanks for all the hard work you do for the SC community Rise, it doesn't go unnoticed. I've actually considered cancelling cable because all I watch are Starcraft VODs now anyway. That being said, it's an honor to contribute to the cause and I'm more than happy to run this on my computer as much as I can. Looking forward to future commentaries and some good times here at XS!

    Good fortune,

I was quite moved by that vid of yours Rise, my father was diagnosed with cancer about four years ago but things are looking pretty good atm, considering the circumstances. Anyway, signed up, every little bit helps.
