[XS]Just got Phenom II x6 1055T (Retail)

if the temps reading are correct, they are about 10-15c cooler than a phenom II quad

I have similar experience with my 1055T
it runs cooler than my overclocked 955BE

Maybe the paste/solder/whatever between the die and the IHS is improved

Apokalipse : i don't think anyone on XS uses the thermal paste which comes for free with their cpu .
