I used the easytune6 just for tweaking in stability and then transferred the settings to bios

No, seems like speedfan does though (along with one other). Everest is normally the best for showing all the temps on a board from my experience, but not certain it's up to date for this board yet, probably is though

Can anyone tell me at around what bclk you need to start using the skews? I've seem some mention of using 300ps on the CPU but I'm getting hangs. Does the other skew (IOH is it?) need to change too? I would test & find out for myself but time is really limited at work :/

My version of everest, 5.3.1900 , has the MB and CPU temps swapped and only reports on two core temps. Other than that it works just fine.

Let's face it, the majority of ET6 versions are complete s**t. I had to go through about 6 versions before I found one that worked on my Extreme, issues ranged from setting ram to default voltage every time I clicked 'set', hanging, not loading at all and the usual GFX driver issues. It's really handy when it works, but the version they have on their site for the extreme didn't work at all (b10.xxxx), ended up on B9.xxxx. Would rather use speedfan anyday - less resources, better presentation of temps etc, if only it could tune voltages!

Yeah, I hope it doesn't, my IOH temps are somewhat high too, and that's with the case open. I imagine it would suffer even more with a powerful gaming card in there to utilise some of the PCIE bandwidth. Don't think it's coming from the mosfets either as I'm running v. low volts where I can. Should have a screenie when I get into work shortly if it's still testing at <1.1v/3.5GHz

radaja, would you mind comparing Everest with Speedfan for me to work out which is MCH?

Oddly enough my temps are a couple C lower with the case side on. My 930 is pig too taking 1.3v @ 3.9Ghz which definitely doesn't help.

wolvers69, As far as I know speedfan doesn't work on this MB, it's readings were way lower than what real temp and everest reported. Try to find an older version of everest, they used to be indefinite trials.

radaja, thanks for doing that. It confirms what I thought, that the lack of air flow inside my case is causing the motherboard to run hot, particularly the NB to beyond 70C in stress testing.

This photo shows why. I've watercooled a Silverstone CW02 HTPC case!

I guess I'll have to pop a fan in there to spot cool the mobo. It's certainly worth doing, so far I've got to 3.8ghz with 1.22vcore which seems fairly reasonable to me.

Nah prob a click of CPu voltage or Ram will take care of that. Its close if it passed 80-90 passes.
