You can find the 64-bit BOINC client here. Use the "recommended version". The "development version" is a beta and may have issues.
Once you get the client going, you don't have to do anything more. It will automatically download new work units and upload completed ones. You just have to leave your machine on 24/7. Of course, the client will stop working once you shut down your machine. It will automatically resume where it left off once you are back on the desktop.
