Well, the rumour was anything from 5000 to 15000 (iirc?), so could be worse... Why are there so few of them for Europe?! Doesn't make much sense at all...

an austrian site seems to have confirmed the rumor that nvidia is bundling gf100 cards with G92 and other older cards. if a shop/distri wants to order 1 gf100 based card, they have to order 20 G92 or other older cards as well.

this should be enough to play metro 2033 at 1920x1080 in stereo 3d... maybe even 2560x1600 stereo 3d?

Metro will be slow on any PC because the engine is terrible, at least in 2560x1600 3D.

That product would make more sense than you think.

Similarly, it would never happen, but alot of people would buy a hybrid 5870 + g92 card. Heck I might. It absolutely possible too with the power consumption of both cards too.

Fermi is here in Hong Kong. 480 GTX 4199 HKD ~ 525 USD. 470 GTX 3199 ~ 425 USD. A bit more than the original retail prices but it is best card now since there were no 5780 2 GB or eyefinity 6 cards around.

Wow. When they said loud, I didn't think they meant That loud. Very disappointing. We now have to wait longer for ATI's refreshes and prices coming down.
