i can confirm that 1 UK e- retailer alone will have 50 + 50 initial stock on the 12th april, thats not counting OCUK and Dabs here in the UK (you do the math)

-Charlie claimed that two major AIB's had less than 100 each for the whole of Europe, he didn't claim that there were less than 100 cards total for all AIBs for the whole of Europe as it seems like you are implying.

-April 12th is two weeks since fermi launched, Charlie's claim is for the FIRST week. May 6th is *definitely* not in the first week that Fermi launched so what the heck is your point?

If Charlie had learned to back off for a few minutes and hold his tongue on this matter he could have made allot of the nvidia fans look silly, but god forbid he doesnt show what a biased ass he is at every turn. too little supply, too much demand = price increase, Nvidia happy

but this is very common on the trader's market ... most manufacturer uses this method to jack up their profit ... nothing unusual, Nvidia is run by humans. everyone does it

Here the thing. Charlie main job is being a journalist. With any job, certain principles are supposed to be followed and as a journalist, he follows none of these.

Objective writing, no. non-biased reporting, no, Sensitive reporting, no.

Being paid by sources to write articles, probably(look at all the AMD ads on his site).

We can have any opinion we want, because we are just posters. We can say what we want because it is an opinion and it doesn't reach very many people. Charlie as a journalist, with an audience that spans far more, he has to follow certain principles. He doesn't.

Its the same reason, doctors can't have relationships with patients, or therapists have to there patients therapy confidential. Charlie violates pretty much all journalistic conduct, short of what could get him arrested.

market is based on confidence ... look around, ask any layman computer user, they'll select Nvidia as choice.

as long they have the market confidence, the demand is there .... Nvidia always have the upper hand to weave whatever price they set.

it doesnt matter how good/bad is your product, just as long as people demands it, and it'll sell.

I read anything, that doesnt mean I believe it nor anticipate what that person has to write in the future. And I cant really read anything 'like a newspaper', seeing that I dont read any newspapers at all. What Charlie writes is actually far less biased and incorrect than much of what the Daily Mail or The Sun write in their rubbish papers, or what a lot of programmes and news on TV show. If you disagree with that, then you likely arent watching much TV or reading Newspapers either.

I don't think the 100 per AIB for Europe figure is correct. I have been in touch with some Turkish retailers and they told me about 100 cards per AIB will enter Turkey in April, and more in the coming months. While this is not a big figure at all (Turkey is a big GPU market, bigger than most EU countries) it's far away from what Charlie says.

Even tough Turkey has some European soil. When looked in big picture, Turkey is not in Europe.

That 100 cards for europe is confirmed from atleast one aib by www.muropaketti.com. And retailers know . They can always say they get lots, actual deliverd amount is another case. And as stated earlier, Turkey is not in Europe. Their cards should not count against allocated card count for Europe.

FYI, a lot of ATI partners include Turkey in their European channels, for example the Sapphire office in Turkey is in their South European branch which is headed by Italy (which sells less cards than Turkey )
