bah, 5 jigahrtz is nothing for single stage...well, for B1 anyway. i've been running 1.65v vCORE for a solid month now on single stage at -30C the coldest. wish i could say high VTT as well but i can't, see below.

good looking stuff from camp Jigabyte in 32M land

lower on memory clocks, but much higher on uncore...should be interesting to see how things shake out between these boards. i am kind of stuck at this point with the chip i have, uncore over 4400MHz just won't go no matter what. insta freeze at 1.425v VTT or higher

you will degrade your chip quick on SS i think

for high uncore try using 1.6+vtt

its run most of the day for over a month at those voltages...what is your definition of quick?

you might have missed it, anything over 1.425v VTT instantly freezes, or simply won't POST if set in the BIOS. same thing on multiple boards. yeah, absolutely no way of getting more out of it

the bios needs to be edited to remove that issue Jody...i know UD7 had some issues of similar nature but it was some bios restriction i think.....could be your chip too of course

looks like you are ok with the chip...thats good

I'm really interested in your tests when your review sample comes for UD9. You should not have these VTT issues so NB will improve unless chip related of course.

others using the R3E don't have the issue and it is the exact same measured VTT on both the R3E and 759 Classy. others have also reported their retail chips to do the same thing at various VTT's, so i have all but given up hope that it is BIOS related and simply the chip.

haha, i was just thinking, i shouldn't be talking smack about this chip not having any issues with vCORE like that on single stage...as soon as you open your mouth with this stuff, the hardware has a way of making an ass out of you
