The HW Labs costs $ 130 .. and the MCR420 costs $ 70 ..

120 x 4 rads scale very well from 120 x3, the only difference would be lower temps but the difference between the different models (SR1 v MCR) would be about the same, so yeah...I'd get the MCR 420 and save the $$. If your concerned about appearance, the MCR's come with a decent paint job but if you want the carbon black look, you can spend that money you saved on a pro paint job with that color.

Seeing I don't visit that site, it's a good thing they do decent descriptions in their links. That's a standard DDC 3.2 which from some recent testing I did, it's a bit weak when compared to a DDC 3.25.

I have a doubt ..

I would like to put two reservoirs on my watercooler ..
A EK Spin on the bay and a EK-Multioption RES 400 rev.2 inside the case ..

What do you think?

Reservoir main function is to ease initial filling/bleeding of loop. WHY would one need two per loop - to simultaneously fill with water from two places?
As for one res per loop in case if there are two loops, shure, why not?

Ppl have had problems bleeding their loops using the EK spin. Might want to consider just using the Multioption res instead.

Slipstreams are not made for use on radiators. Follow Churchy's suggestions.

A Cosmos S will not hold the rads you want. If you are only doing a Core I5, and 1 GTX480 or GTX260, you don't need all that radiator. A Cosmos S can hold a 360 with no cutting to the case and a 240 with cutting to the case. If you don't want to keep everything in the case, but mount a radiator to the outside of the case, then that doesn't matter.

There are also other radiators out there that perform as good if not better than those SR-1s for cheaper. Thermochill, EK, Magicool/Swiftech, XSPC RX series are a few. Those SR-1s do look the best though.

You don't have to do dual loops, but you may want to do dual pumps as MB blocks do add restriction. Everyone has there personal perference on pumps. End of the day, you will be fine with a MCP-655(D5) or a MCP-355(DDC). The DDC is smaller than the D5 and less expensive. The D5 vario has a speed control built into it.

I would say to get the DDC as you will need 2 and a Cosmos S can get a little tight when watercooling. Make certain to get a pump top for the pumps too. EK, XSPC, and Koolance all make great pump tops

As for fans, I've used all kinds in every way. With filters, without, on rads in push with shroud, without, pull w/ rads, without, pushpull, etc. Between Scythe, Silverstone FM120's, sanace, deltas, etc. It all depends on your goals. If you do end up going the scythe route, do a push pull, because like Miller touched on, they lose a lot of CFM under pressure and do become a little noisy.

All in all I think one of my favorite silent fans are the Yate Loon high speed fans. I've not used the Gentle Typhoons, or Noiseblockers, but those both seem popular for pretty silent systems and a lower FPI rad (lower finds per inch = easier air flow). Besides that I'd recommend delta 25mm for high performance, but they're very loud and you will need a 30w per channel fan controller to handle these. I recently picked up the lamptron FC5, while expensive it is a really nice controller.

So you've got a lot of options to go with! What fans are you leaning towards?

The Spin res has had. . .problems. The spinner is technically a flow indicator, not a flow meter and has not worked properly or, at all for several ppl here. The res also has a nasty habit of introducing air into the system via the "waterfall effect", making it harder to bleed the loop. I don't see either of these problems going away very easily with the addition of another res. The only way to get rid of those problems is (ironically), to not use the res as it was intended to be used. . .meaning, don't use the spinner or the "waterfall effect" and it does seem to work reasonably well from what I hear.
