This isn't a news article about GTX 485 (even tho it's mostly possibly in a few months) It's about Photoshop CS5 and it's content-aware filling algorithm.

LOL! Why would they make a bigger card? 512sps are already in there. They just need to enable them. GTX485 (or 480 ultra) is real. I just don't think they'll extend the PCB for it. Maybe a new, better cooler though.

yes it was April fool's joke, yes I spent 3 minutes with Photoshop

Despite that some sites were eager to report about NVIDIA's upcoming GeForce GTX 485:

"The Finnish tech site says it'll be due in Q2 of this year, which is only a few months away. As far as we can tell there isn't a lot of Finnish humor in this article, so we think that this is no April Fools joke, unlike the HD 5999 and GTX 580 we read about today on Overclocker's Club. Then again the image file for this picture on the right is 20100401aprl_fl4.png, so ya, maybe it is a big joke come to think of it. Maybe the joke is the how hot this GPU would be, and how much power it would sap... Decide for yourself! "

And in Japan they even translated the specs and added GeForce GTX 470:

Eh. I spent the same few minutes in Paint and made the iconic, true-to-life-scale GTX495. I would laugh if the GTX495 ended up being roughly 18" long; EVERYONE knows that the bigger your graphics card, the bigger your epeen!

It's not the size of the wave it's the motion of the ocean!

A tsunami fits the bill perfectly. And combining that GTX495 and Dave's Westmeres, he'd have a 200' tsunami!
