ADATA XPG Gaming DDR3 1600G 4GX2 CL9-9-9-24 Dual Channel Kit Test

    Specification:
    8-layer PCB
    DDR3 1600 CL9-9-9-24
    Voltage: 1.55-1.75V
    Limited Life Warranty

    The Retail Package:

    CL9-9-9-24, 1.55~1.75V

    Black Heatsink - Gaming Series

    Test Platform:
    CPU: Intel Xeon W3540
MB: EVGA Classified E759 @ Dual Channel
    RAM: Adata XPG Gaming 4G X 2 DDR3 1600G CL9-9-9-24, 1.55~1.75V
    Display Card: HD4670

I skipped the default test, directly go to lower the timings at DDR3 1600 speed with max. VDimm 1.65V, then Try increase the freq. with suitable relaxation of timings and with Max. Vdimm 1.65V. MemtestPro, Everest are used for this test.

    Test 1: @ DDR3 1600

    DDR3 1600 CL8-9-8-20-88-1T @ 1.52V Memtest 100% and Everest Bandwidth, Latencies

    DDR3 1600 CL7-9-7-20-88-1T @ 1.65V Memtest 300% and Everest Bandwidth, Latencies

    Test 2: DDR3 2000
    DDR3 2000 CL9-11-9-20-120-1T @ 1.65V Memtest 400% and Everest Bandwidth, Latencies

with increase of freq. to DDR3 2000 and so does the uncore speed, bandwidth and latency is improved.

    PROS:
    1) AT 1.65V, you can choose 1600C7 or 2000C9, overclockability is quite good for 4G module
    2) The modules are just warm when full loading
    3) Flexibility for users to upgrade

    CONS:
    1) 4G module still expensive nowaday
    2) Some X58 users may expect Tri-channel Kit to come
