NICE! [H] has videos showing real time noise and power consumption!
edit: damn, the 480 sounds a bit louder than the 5870

it looks like some sites have the gf100 cards not being forced to dx11 on bc2 and dirt2.
overall its fairly impressive, but it looks like its not as good for price to performance as ati and it looks like it wont oc as high, so we have the same situation as the last gen

I had a pocket full of cash for the GTX 480 sli.
Off to buy another 58xx and some hooker/s with the extra money.![]()
Wow, we're getting hammered. Overloaded servers, bandwidth through the roof. All in all, a good launch.![]()
I do not like FERFAIL, ati really did a great job with 5xxx series

Success!
FAIL. congrats to the one who buy a 5970, you have a better card, draw less electricity, and you enjoy it since 6 months.

Some of those sites aren't loading most likely due to server overload.
Saw only one review at TechPowerup, not really impressed to be honest. The GTX 480 card draws out way too much power and isn't really that much faster than the 5870 as expected.

The internet, she is crashing!
Guru3d is down, HWC is down.... that's all i've bothered to check so far.
Anyone seen some OC anywhere? Just wonder if there is any headroom left with that powerdraw just wonder if my top100 score will be beaten by anything but ln2 scores :p

What the hell, who do you trust these days when it comes to benchmarks? Every review I clicked on had something shady going on. I guess its time to wait for hardware.fr to do theirs.
