i have a feeling a refresh is going to be here soon, just like the GTX 285, fixed the broken GTX 280. Like the GTX 280, the 480 runs hot! i bet were gonna see alot of burned chips, or chips going into bog mode because of heat, why nvidia was this late and this bad.

    From conclusion:

What surprised me was the fact that say from 1280x1024 up-to 1920x1200 NVIDIA seems stronger than the competition. And at 2560x1600 things tend to equalize a much more.
That's strange, I was expecting it to be the other way around... so there's actually not a whole lot of an advantage at 2560 x 1600??

    ComputerBase (german, but nice charts)
    GameStar.de (german)

ComputerBase sums it up pretty good imo: Fastest single GPU card, but the price for the crown in terms of power usage and fan noise is too high
