    Love the look. How heavy is this unit?

    I was planning on mounting an EK RES vertically above an EK D5 TOP where the EK D5 TOP inlet would sit underneath the RES so that that RES essentially sits on top of the EK D5 TOP. The connection point between the vertically mounted RES and the EK D5 TOP would be a male to male BP adapter.

    || <- BP bard fitting
    |---| <- RES
    |---|
    |---|
    |---|
    |---|
    || <- BP ADAPTER to TOP inlet
    ====
    ==== <- TOP
    ====

    Would this work or would the FQ res be too heavy? I would not be using RES clips to mount the RES to anything.

    Thanks.

    It's little bit heavier than a same size EK. But I don't think weight it's the issue for your design. But have u see the picture mine, those wires for the light do come out from bottom center which means even you have your hole on the bottom u won't be able to let the res sit on the pump in the middle, that would be an issue.

    In your picture posted above the left side of the RES has a single hole at the bottom doesn't it? I was going to make that side the bottom and the other side with the wires and the 2 side ports the top. Granted, that might look ugly.

    Or just PM Frozen and see what he can do about it, the hole don't have to be that way at all, just ask him to drill it for u where you want it.

    2 things:

    1. ive been waiting since july too, and i got mine at the beginning of december. so your not the only one, ask him where it is, send him a pm...

    2. dont call someone out in a post, if you have something to say, say it by pm. its the appropriate thing to do. and no he is NOT sending it to select members, he has sent them out to everyone... maybe you live farther away?

    I feel justified to call him out on a post I did say it by PM....last excuse was the acrylic, but yet members were getting theirs even newer members who just paid. I do not live farther way that it takes many months to get.....

    Yes, I would really appreciate it if you did keep stuff like this to PM's

    And to resolve the issue, I did PM you back this afternoon. I apologize about not getting back to you sooner, but I've been spending the past few days with family while trying to get some work done in the process.

    The reservoir was sent mid November. Along with several other peoples. I even posted that I sent the remaining reservoirs out. If you didn't receive yours, and this goes out to everyone else too, PM me about it asap. Don't wait over a month and then PM and get angry about it. I'll work with anyone to resolve anything. To date, I can't even get a hold of half the people I've sent reservoirs to, to confirm that they received them, so it becomes difficult to track everyone down.

    Things happen, postal service loses things...

    Too often recently...I can't seem to decided what carrier is better.

    EDIT: I'll be on here for awhile tonight, if you have not received yours or there is a problem with yours, PM me and let me know.

    So I wanted to give everyone a little detailed update on the status of my reservoirs, some pictures, and some changes I've undergone.

    First off, a lot of people ask me, can I get my reservoir with side ports? Absolutely, below you will see an example of a reservoir with two lower side ports. I can do up to 4, on one side only, ie top or bottom ring.

    Also you will probably notice how nice the end caps look compared to before. I started using a different fine belt to brush them, and I also now rout the edges to make them more uniform, and now they have a very nice and shiny appeal to them.

    People are always asking about custom sizes too. I can accommodate any custom size from 100mm to 400mm.

    I can also do custom helix colors other than my standard fluorescent colors. Black, white, purple, aqua, pink, you name it.

    Carbon Fiber Vinyl End Caps

    A new offering, the RC CLS is pretty much just a standard reservoir, with a pair of the end caps, and a UV CCFL inside to make any fluorescent coolant glow.

    All that aside, I ask that anyone who wants a standard 250mm Liquid Fusion, whether it be red, green, blue or amber, purchase it through an online retailer who has them in stock. At this point, while I don't want to say I can't help the XS community out, I really want to stay available to take custom orders for you guys here. So if you need side ports, a different size, multiple reservoirs, something weird, let me know and I will still be glad to help

    I have 3 of em now but what shall I say....
    First, sure these are the best looking reservoirs I've ever seen.
    Maybe I just had bad luck but all 3 leaked: #1 at the screws of the helix, 2# at the tube of the uv one and the 3#...well I mounted my BP barbs (with my hand) and the bottom plate just popped off and I'm not Hulk Hogan ^^
    Well fixed all with 2 components epoxy glue and no leaks anymore...but was rly a bit sad

    You should have PM'd me I would have replaced them directly.

    I'm assuming you ordered them from AT? How did that disk on the one pop off? Really easy. AT had issues with a batch doing that. And I had been doing a lot of research into how, because I had never seen any of my reservoirs pop off like that, and I have made over 450 reservoirs to date. I don't know if they were stored in an extreme temp for too long or something.

    Hi,
    Got mine today, blue with black, managed to grab it from highflow.nl (thx for the info btw) while they were selling it for €84 - worked out ~£75, bargain compare to the prices in UK online stores.

    Quality is excellent, can't wait to finish the build now - thanks for great product FrozenQ!

    BTW - Got with mine inverter & PCI bracket with a switch, didn't expect one, perhaps shop added it or is it now in the package?
