And it's also only 2% faster in 1680x1050 with 4xAA, 7% faster in 1920x1200 with 4xAA and 15% in 2560x1600 with 4xAA.

And it's nearly 30% faster than GTX260 in 1680x1050 8xAA,over 70% faster than GTX275 in 2560x1600 with 8xAA.

And from the 7 games tested in 1920x1200 with 8xAA only 3 get playable framerates, one barely hits 30fps average and the others are unplayable.

GTX480's Metro 2033 and stalker CS benchmarks are also under 30FPS in reviewers guides.

25% more performance for 35% more power consumption is fine by me, assuming that is where the GTX 480 will end up vs the 5870. Big assumption?

You mean 8%, 15%, and xx% since 2560x1600 4xAA isn't listed?
