Yup they had a wording issue in the help file...we all got excited over nothing.

still a fast driver though and worth using

    looks like it.

on the other hand, used raid 0 should still be a bit faster than trimmed single drive. maybe. Intel's drives seemed to do pretty well even before they had trim support.
    Sigs are obnoxious.

This sucks no trim, but i did get quite a boost with this new driver.
Is it even possible to trim through the intel controllers now or do we need a whole new controller for raid?

    Thats what i figured.
I actually got a 160 first but decided id rather have more speed and went with 2 80gb...and now 3.
Im still new to the whole SSD and researched allot before doing so and read nothing negative on intel in raid so i went for it, so far so good no lose in performance but its only been about 4 weeks on 2 drives and i just got my 3rd couple days ago so well see

so intels controller is now at the same amds in functionality since it has full achi/trim pass though for non raided drives, or dose it do what it says that it dose

Tony, may I suggest adding an edit to that effect in your first post. No need to make someone read the entire thread to find out it was a false alarm. Just a thought...
