Where to mod Sapphire 9600XT Fireblade? (Vgpu & Vmem)

I saw many people modding 9600xt. I saw also many pictures of the points to mod but i cannot find the Vmem point to mod! Any help for the specific card?

Here's a couple simple pages I through together for a friend that has the same card as I do but lives about 600 miles away. If it looks just like your card, then just follow the instructions I laid out on there.

my stock clocks were the same as the fireblade (500/324) but I got the OEM (didn't care about the crappy bundled games).

    also try Unoid's site at
    http://unoid.net/9600pro/index.php

    hope that helps.

Thanks a lot for the help. But my video card doesn't look the same. I mean that those chips on the card of your friend that were modded, are missing from my card.

bummer. Have you checked Unoid's site? He has a lot of pics of different cards. One is a fireblade I believe.

Damn sapphire made a *few* different fireblade cards AFAIK. Some with the same chips as mine, some with different ones, some have thermal monitoring and overdrive support, some don't....kinda crappy if you ask me. but I can't complain about the card...it does the job...but not as well as a 9800pro

i have checked everything on Unoid's site! The Vgpu area is exactly the same as mine, but the Vmem area is different.

I have found the chip to mod for the Vgpu.
The following photo shows the area where is the Vmem mod (same layout as mine but my card has Hynix 2.8ns memory chips)
Which chip to mod? Where to measure my mem voltage?

sorry for not responding in awhile...the spot where you measured 2.63v from would probably be the ddr voltage. That's what mine was before I modded it (2.95v now). Increasing that to 2.9v would probably give you a good jump in ddr speed.

As far as which chip to mod, I would think it would be one of the two in the center of your picture. I don't have time to look up the datasheets right now, but I will later when I get a chance.

EDIT: the chip to mod would most likely be the RT9202...but don't quote me on it yet. The other chip (APM7312 seems to have a similar function for DDR voltage ... datasheet

RT9202 with a 10k VR from pin 6 to pin 3 (GND) should be the mod I would have thought.

If I'd of had the time to do the vMEM mod before I killed the board, I'd have done it on that IC
