So the argument that a driver is going to bridge the gap between the two products is *at this point* incorrect as ATI have had nearly 6 months time to improve their driver.

Well, Nvidia is 6 months late with the hardware, but that doesen't necessarily mean their driver team is also 6 months behind, does it?
