Rules are rules Chew buddy. If he had a link it would have passed. I've been down that road. And tbh it's more of a HD and os bench than anything else. Get some ssd's a raid card or even better a ACard ram drive and watch your scores rise. Video cards arn't even close to being a factor.

Rule #2: have a valid screenshot (see example below): clearly show PCmark score, PCmark settings, processor in CPU-Z, GPU-Z, Subtest Scores (XP startup speed!), unless you have a valid futuremark ORB url

For ref its a top 5 result with AMD to boot, don't think we need tips for 05 but thanks anyway.

Lets not get nitty gritty now.

Think he has more say than you do.

Didn't take it anyway in particular.

I can tell you there is no need for SSd's nor can I afford them but thats about it.

Just really no reason it should be blocked other than nit picking.

Anyone up for a SuperPI party that has a p4c/p4e800-e series motherboard. I have a few good chips to test; including a limited engineering edition Northwood with an unlocked multiplier!

    Time for another update:

Please welcome gotvoltage, he has posted his first scores, I hope many more will follow!

    chew* has been testing a 8800 GT, scoring 18k in 06, 30k in 05, 311k in AM3 and almost 50k in 03, good for about 80 points.
MTP04 validated his Phenom II X4 965 at almost 6.7GHz, keep pushing!
Last but not least, chew* and gotvoltage are both pushing their Phenom II X2 chips!

Haven't been able to get over to the store for dice or ln2 and now there closed for the weekend.
It's too quiet here and I'm getting benching sickness.
I'll get my water loop running and plug up my CPU waterblock and test out the 5870 and some soft vmodding with rivatuner for a start to see what the card can do. Should have results tonight after I load some oses fresh.

I have been testing my Commando this week with different chips.
Yesterday I tried my E6300, but all it can do is a FSB speed of 465MHz. A very bad chip, but I'll give a try on my REX as well, I have checked some more results, maybe I was too cautious with the voltages.
Then I switched chips to my new E8400 to test if I have a bad chip or a bad mainboard, and this confirmed that I have a bad chip. The E8400 could easily reach a FSB speed of 580MHz.

The board can definitely do more, since I had my RAM running at CL4 to run some MaxxMem while I was at it....
This is my best result so far, tomorrow I'll try to take down 750 marks. Considering I'm already running higher clocks than the WR I think I need another board.

Daniel, get some proper chip for the commando - E8400 belongs in REX, for the Commando get an old Celeron
They go for pennies on ebay and they are a good source of cpu-z global points.

    You mean something like a P4 631 or a Celeron 352?
    Yeah, I'm working on that.

The result that have been posted today and the guys who posted them deserve an update:

BeepBeep2 is still testing his new AMD setup, Linuxfan is running his 4870 on air and chew* is clocking his 8800 GT to 1GHz core frequency in 05.

And then there is a very special guy, xoqolatl, who managed to become 3rd on the world record in 3DMark Vantage with a X5667 @ 5.3GHz and one 5970 and two 5870s running @ 965/1300. Click!

All these results pushed us over 11k hardware points today, good work guys.

Edit: xoqolatl has just posted his own thread about this result, please check it out here.

Looks like this 4870 doesn't have that voltage controller I thought it had. Stock voltage is a severe bottleneck on the 5870 and my water cooling didn't compare to subzero. I'll hopefully pick up some stuff to freeze my CPU and gpus this week.
I really want to get some vmods going but I'm going slow...
