When we lost power and were just running on the generator I used sammy as my only machine because of the low power draw.
Works just fine for anything in daily use and as said, stable little mo-fo..![]()

I need some help ~ is there any windows XP intel raid driver for the SE7520BB2 mobo ~ I tried but couldn't find it online![]()
Here's a link to the download center http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Sear...rd+SE7520BB2D2
but there seems to only be an XP driver for the hardware backplane and an XP Pro 64 driver for the onboard nic, other than that I don't know.
There's more there, go to the page.

RAID drivers for the ICH5R or the SI SATA ports?
I *highly doubt there is no RAID drivers for either, esp the ICH5R.. plus if the WinServer2003 are x86 then they could very well work in XP as well
if u want to look for RAID drivers for the ICH5R for XP, try looking at a mobo with the 875P NB![]()

So far it works great, hooked it up to some spare hardware I have laying around in the shop and installed windows. Extra RAM you inlcuded seems to work great, it passed a few Memtest86 passes.
Now, did anyone try installing XP Pro and forcing Win Server 2003 drivers?

Lol's Mofo's- My shelf Sossaman's are still runnin on there shelf "unit" while I have 5 inches of water in the whole basement, heck maybe more but there was still plenty of clearance underneath to not worry!
Just imagine the floor area with water and me sloshing around in the water getting the pump running while the whole time the rigs are still running

Wow, if only those Xeon's were cheaper, I found Sossaman boards on e-bay for $46 ($19 plus $16 shipping).
Ebay link
Core I7 920 4.2 ghz (21x200) 1.35 volts / Asus P6T / Corsair XMS 1333mhz @ 1600mhz / EVGA GTX 285 SSC (724 core/1634 shaders / 1508 mem) / Modified ThermalTake Armor
Swiftech Apogee, MCW-60, Swiftech 655, Black Ice GTX 360
They can be had on fleabay RELATIVELY cheaply if you watch closely, but there are some etailers out there still trying to charge $400+ US for them, each. Don't click "buy" without checking first.

You can get the board a bit cheaper (on shipping) if you go to centrix-intl.com (the same ebayer).

$9 vs 16
Also, I found SL8WT 2Ghz cpus on ebay for $29.50 each.
Still waiting to put it together as I was at work all day and my board and heatsinks were delivered to my apartment's office. They are closed now![]()

Well, I got my sossaman rig up and running today. It took me about 5 hours to organize my desk (for wire management of everything on my desk) and mounting the rig to the side part of my desk.
I'm going to need more outlets soon as my surge protector is filled to the max. Don't worry though, the power consumption for my system, sossaman, router, modem, printer and monitor is only 280W when I am crunching on both systems.
Pics are added for justice. Sossaman needs more wire management...
I think I might add another sossaman to the other side as well and maybe I might used some pico PSUs to save one some space...time will tell.
Nice! Gives me some ideas, too.![]()

Or use one PSU for both sammies... that's what I did![]()
