Does anyone know if the multiple monitor issue with SLi will persist with the Fermi generation?

By that I mean, currently, when SLi is enabled, you only get 2 displays, and one must be via HDMI, thus is is limited to 1920x1200.

It seems that ATI is ahead of the game here, as I've been told that with Crossfire, you could have 3 displays, two of which are 2560x1600 and one that is 1920x1200.

Granted, you only get top performance on one, which is all I care about, but having 3 displays is making ATI seem more appealing (strange for me to say that after having NVIDIA cards for the last 10 years).

Any rumors on this changing with Fermi?
