    The 890 chipset really looks like it enchances overclocking capabilities. That is great to know!

    Frankly, it's good for OC & It has pretty much required features in its' Bios

    Guys....just did a fast run PI1M with another 1007 BPMW
    Hope to give you an idea

    Still running with my IDE HDD.....no time to install OS into a new HDD
    No SPI Tweak or anything
    Couldn't pull the NB or memory any higher under -170c
    Oh....this could be done with voltage @ 1.808v, I just didn't make the screenshot

    Buckeye...Am I too lazy or what....I forgot to use "1T"

    7GHZ on 890GX? w/ 4+1 R60 Phases!? What will people be hitting on 890FX!?

    I think some aspect of overclocking can cause SATA to stop working, in which case you would turn to the legacy IDE port. That may only be on P55/H55/H57/X58 though.

    That's true though...
    I think some aspect of overclocking can cause SATA to stop working, in which case you would turn to the legacy IDE port. That may only be on P55/H55/H57/X58 though.

    I need to find out if the 890GX will support unlocking of Cores so please find out, since this is what I will be buying if I have to get a new board.
