I believe it is TARN-X. At least that is what I use. The only problem I have noticed with it is after you use it, the blocks tarnish much quicker next time around.
The first time I had read about people using it was on the Prometheus build. But he was spraying some kind of clear (I think) on the bare copper directly after. It does work really well though. Does anyone remember those commercials on T.V. when the guy dips the silver tarnished spoon in it and it comes out clean.
I don't know......Just a goofy childhood memory. The stuff has been around for at least 40 years though.

Well, I use the stuff called "liquid for metal surface cleaning" it is much cheaper than CILIT (is it known worldwide?), about $1 for 300ml bottle, and gives better results - I did not tested other solutions personally, but guy who I talked to said that this is the best working one. I cleaned GPU block few days ago and it is still clean and shiny.

And it is pretty fast too, no need to sink blocks for the whole night, 5 minutes followed by few sponge strikes and you're done.

spent some money ($20 ) to make a DIY softbox, it is not actually a softbox probably just a lightbox, anyway I am happy with the result
it is one of the Mayhem dyes, still didn't decide whether I'll be using colored water or not, but this color is so yummy

and here is my recent purchase, low rpm 2TB Barracuda LP for storage, must be cool and silent

yeah, I have blue tubes and some of the cabling

    callen, redphil, kgtiger
    thanks

here you go guys, this thing is dead simple:
cheapest lighters I found (less than $5 each), couple of energy saving spiral 20W lamps (around $5 each) and less than $2 for a box and A1 thick paper.

Originally I was inspired by this guide but I have to put lamps inside as they are not powerfull enough to throw light through the paper.

I must say, it looks interesting and result are really good. I was considering to buy something more professional, but it`s worth 3-4 times more than this. I`ll try something like yours aka GK.

Definetely go for it, you'll be able to do studio-like professional photos for your shop. Good site = business goes up

    Well, it is moving.
I have some new stuff arrived, not everything I have ordered, just a part of it. Postal guys are especially slow this year
Then I am talking to CNC guys to make some parts for me (like window and some other secret parts LOL)

And after all I am doing some more sleeving for 3 days already, just have no time to finish it

I have an update planned for today or tomorrow

    Pffft, sleep? who needs that?
I do like that watercool block you have on that 4870x2, but i also like P80 builds in general
edit: how did you sleeve that ethernet cable, did you splice the cable in order to do that?

Person who doesn't need to sleep probably would be the happiest person in the world
Just as usual, used USB mdpc-x sleeving and SATA heatshrink, didn't remove the connector

    ahoy, Cap'n

    thanks

    ================================================== =======
Now back to work, making sleeved extensions
Here is everything you need. My friend works in PC service and he was kind enough to give me some spare PSU cables (6-pin GPU power to 4-pin molex), this fact makes my work a bit easier

oh, and crimping tool + pins of course

    crimped wires

this is how I hold strong sleeving tension left end is just shrinked

    Aaand here you go, finished!

Next to the front door assembly
Got some round stickers for the fans (credits go to Captain ). One sheet with BC logo on them and another just plain black. Sounds ridiculous to order black pieces of paper from another part of the world, isn't it?
Sorry for apple advertising, it was just the thing laying nearby to show gloss, stickers are of very high quality

Take a look at this YL fan, I've melted stock sticker while sleeving

    Not a problem anymore!

    Other 2 got plain black

Then the door, everything is pretty evident

    used Nanoxia silicone pins

    backside

Basically I have everything I need (sincerely hope) except for the MIPS block. Also one thing is in production now, window is in a stage of designing.

That's it for now, thanks for checking in
