How come you guys use that weird AOPen board instead of the more popular SHuttle/Gigabyte/Chaintech boards?

maybe because Aopen are more open to feedback from OCZ and the oc'ing crowd ? From what corsair guys said, Shuttle hangs up the phone when Corsair mentions oc'ing with their Shuttle boards!

Well they wrote the bios for me im using on this board..only issue is no more vdimm and vcore although it will be better on the 250 version.

Im tempted to mod it although its pretty sweet as is..

The only sh*t timing is 3-4-4-8 or higher IMO.

    3-2-2 @ 270 with only 2.85 is pretty amazing.

Cas latency dont practically have any impact of memory preformance on 865/875 or A64 boards. The real setting that maters is RTC delay.
    cool cool cool!

AcEmAsTr, maybe you want to read this article where the lack of performance impact of CAS latency was shown some, er, 3 years ago along with the dominant role of tRCD for performance.

    http://www.lostcircuits.com/memory/ddr2/

    I'd take a tRCD=2 part any time over a CL-2:4:4 part
