    I like your design.
I wouldn't add any more detail to it, looks good the way it is.
The top really needed something to blend in with the sides, if you where to just leave it blank I feel it would look a little strange and un-finished.

If your unsure of it Mike, then just do some more drawings and see what you come up with.
You will either find a better one or you will come back to the one you have.

    Thanks man !

    UPDATE TIME !!!!!!

    YAY!!!!

OK. Previous and this weekend I have been working on power chamber as you all know.
I spent a lot of extra time to make sure it will fit it nicely, all panels will align and all gonna look nice.
I have to say I did it! I'm really shocked when after putting all together it all aligned perfectly and looks pretty cool! I know, I'm bragging, but... well, check it out yourselves! Let me explain why I'm so excited about it - I cut, filed and polished every single edge of those panels and elements by hands(!), it is not cut on cnc or laser.. This is why I'm so happy:blush:

This is one of the L shape support elements that keep power chamber panel installed to the case bottom panel.

One thing for all those photos - do not worry about different screws I used to mount it all - I dont have enough of the pretty ones, so used whatever I had. They will all be swapped with nice screws I got from Bill

This is one of the walls of it - when looking at the front of the case, this is right wall...
it has all 3 supports elements screwed to it.

This is top support element - notice small 2mm gap between it and panel - this is the space for top power chamber panel which will slide into it! Amazing.. seriously..

    ..again, bottom piece...

Here's rear element - it also has small 2mm gap to align with front panel.

And here it is - mounted into the whole thing:

I measured and drill holes for PSU in the bottom case panel. To show it easier I put PSU gasket to make it more visible (PSU is used in my opened PC right now
As you can see I changed the layout fo the elements in power chamber. PSU in no longer along the case, it will be mounted in the front part and pump will end up in the back, near radiator fans.

Now, just take a look how those two power chamber panels aligned.. I cannot believe it! How did I manage it, I will never know

Front panel with drilled holes for first, top SSD. I was too tired tonight to measure and drill second set for bottom SSD...

Here's the corner where right and front power chamber panels align...

Here's the top one slided in ( that left one, which is in this photo on the front, is only slided in, I will mount it for good using rivets next weekend)

I will leave you with more photos of the last update - mounted power chamber Ladies and Gentlemen....

Thanks mate, I know it IS impossible!

I wanted to add one sketchup showing the positioning of the PSU and pump, the latest version

Here's the rough idea how its going to be situated in power chamber.

    Excellent work Mike.
Well done on your fab work, gives you a warm fuzzy when it all works out so well, hay.

Where will the psu get it's air flow from, I take it, that is the next step, yeah?

Keep up the excellent work mate.

PSU as it can be seen on sketchup is facing to the rear, so that wall we can see is the fan side. Exaust side is at the bottom, so PSU fan will suck the air from the power chamber and blow it outside to the bottom of the case.

Love it Mike. Btw, if you're interested, I made an extremely accurate model of the DFI P55 MI board in Sketchup: http://sketchup.google.com/3dwarehou...71b7fb3f5d842f. Feel free to use my design if you want, or any other you find in my models list .

Subbed. Amazing work. I might have missed this but are you having the honeycomb designs machined or are you doing it by hand?

are you going to watercool the chipset? The DFI heatsink there is rather inadequate as I found on my LP JR P45 and X58 boards

Thanks! Panels will be cut on cnc. I could do it in hand but thing is the windows edges of outside cover panels have to be exactly 3mm wider than main panels edges, so that would take me ages to achieve in hands.

Thanks mate! I had to make a short break and went away for two weeks - family issues.
I will be back this weekend and will get back on my little tower.

See, chipset on P55 mITX mobo is not an issue - I had P45 matx and I know that heatsink was hot, but this one here is cool when I'm touching it so no need to cool it other way than stock heatsink.

SO does this mean it will be completed before then? Are you committing to a deadline!!? If so please don't rush it. I can see the potential here and trust you'll make this into a great little build (it already is)!

Read again. He said he'll bring his Phinix Cube, and not his Phinix Nano Tower. The Phinix Cube is his previous build, which is basically a celebrity in the modding industry: http://forums.bit-tech.net/showthread.php?t=143299
