    v2.4 is still loading my i7 920 @ 50% with HT on when threads is set on auto. Xtreme stress mode causes the system to freeze <15 second after starting, this happens at stock as well.

    Yep, same here too.... also I have to reselect maximum several times before the memory amount it wants to test drops to whats available.

    If IntelBurnTest were virtualized using VMWare ThinApp, should IntelBurnTest still stress test a CPU as well or better than if run without virtualization?
