These are from when I was GPU folding:

    4 XFX 9600SGO's

    Here is my current rig:

    Running a XFX 9800GT.

The 9600GSO's took 1 month of solid abuse and didn't break a sweat!

That is one VERY tidy rig. Nice work. The Second 280 would go really well on games like Far Cry 2, The Crysises e.t.c.

I can only really see a benefit in gaming terms if you play these games or similar. I play a bit of GRID and COD 4 and these run really smooth with only one 280 at high setings.

If you have anything, monitor wise, 24" or above you'll probably notice some improvement also.

Thank you!Yep i'm playing a lot of shooters like Crysis and Far Cry and I even have got a 24" Monitor, and these are the main reasons for adding a second GTX 280

I have a semi-faulty XFX mobo with 2 bad RAM slots and crappy BIOS...support was so horrid I gave up on getting it replaced.

    I ended up doing this:

That PSU looks pretty good. I like the specs. Especially the single rail design similar to the PCP&C PSUs.

I just picked up a pair of the XFX 260/216 Core Editions GX260XADJC. I'm replacing the 9800GX2 in my sig. I will post up installed pics if anyone is interested.

    Great minds think alike

I have the same GTX260's running on an XFX 750i SLI motherboard. I'd love to get my hands on that power supply too.

Great performers and excellent value too.
as you can see in my sig I have a pair of 285 as well
of course the performance is better but I can play any game I have, and play it well, on either setup.
