Not bad cpu speed but you need to work on the nb and ram. Keep it up!

I'll do some tweaking on it tonight. Cinebench crashed it twice lastnight so I brought down the multi to something more stable. At least I know it's capable of 4ghz out of the box, on air, and with minimal voltage modification.

    Edit:
I managed to hit 4.0 and a stable Cinebench 11.5. Unfortunately, at a 20x multiplier, it requires a Vcore of 1.50... I'll approach from a different angle later tonight.

Love the clocks peeps. I'm tempted to build a 965 C3 under air for my next main rig.

I'm a noob at OC-ing a Phenom II and I'm trying to find a decent 24/7 OC for my new toy. So far:

NB/L3 is set to 2520MHz @1.35v, but looking at your results I think that the core voltage is little beat high. 1.525v causes instability in OCCT after 30 min. I have also added +0.1v to SB and NB voltages., CPU PLL is set to 2.62v.
I'm using air cooling - CM Hyper 212 Plus and I have a large server case with a decent cooling (3x120mm fans @1500rpm)

What voltages are safe for a 24/7 OC? (During OCCT, at the OC settings like those above, core temps are lower than 53'C.)

I got my cpu happily at 955 C3 at 3.8 (cant get stable any higher) but the damn NB is useless. It doesnt want to do anything above 2400mhz. I tried 1.3V for 2600mhz even and that didnt work stable.

tkxmoe, i suggest you start a new thread, somthing doesnt sound right there... except maybe not enough voltage. mine needs right around 1.3v for 2600mhz so some may need even more volts (think 1.35?) but if you make a new thread people can try to find out why its not getting stable. are you sure you adjusted cpu-nb volts, NOT regular nb volts? bla just make a new thread

memel, very nice chip there! is that the best of the 555s you had or just random?

For SuperPi 1M, no. For 32M calculation it will make a big difference though.

A lot of nice results in this thread. I haven't had AMD since NF4 but picked up a 550 C3 a couple of weeks ago. It's completely stable at 4100MHz with 8GB of ram. Really hard to beat that type of performance compared to cost.
