Hi Sergio,
My name is Franco and I'm from Argentina. Sorry to write in english, but I think it's part of the forum rules to do so.
Anyways, I took the liberty to contact you regarding some advices to get a nice stable OC on my pc.
I gotta Core 2 Duo E8600 on a S2E, 4 gig's of RAM Corsair Dominator XMS3 1600C7DHX, and 2 BFG GTX 285 OCX in SLI.
My system is watercooled with a swiftech apex ultra kit and gtz cpu block.
Anyways, mi highest stable OC is 4516Mhz on the cpu, ram at 1700mhz 7 7 7 20 2T, llink'ed with 5/4 ratio and multiplier at 8.5. FSB is at 2125.
It's prime95 (25.9) stable for more than 3 hours on small ftt, since that's what I've been told stresses the cpu more than anything.
My goal is to break the 4.51 Ghz barrier, I would love to get it at 4.75 with 9x 2000/1600 (5/4) 7 7 7 20 1T but I just can't brake that barrier, and believe me, I tryed almost anything but I think the temp becomes an issue.
Anyways, any advice would be awesome to help me get the most outta my rig.
By the way, my volt setting for my current stability is
CPU 1.375 Vcore LLC enabled
PLL 1.5
vtt 1.26
ram 1.9
NB 1.44
SB 1.5
Thanks in advanced!
