My farm. Post yours. 56k warning in effect!

While a similar thread was done it has been a good while ago. Time for a new thread with new pics! We have many new people and veterans have new hardware. So lets see it!! Size does not matter. If it crunches or folds lets see it!!

My main system. Phenom 9850 with GTX 260.

2 Opteron 1354 quad cores, wireless. In bedroom to distribute heat around.

dual Opteron 8356, 8 cores total.

AMD 5200+, 2.6gz dual core with XFX 8800GT.

AMD Phenom 2 810 with EVGA 8800GT. Hopefully will have a 6 core Thuban by summer!

    Athlon 2 x4 with GTX 260.

I'm at work now, so I can't show off my home crunchers, but here's my workspace, all running *near* 24/7. Sorry for the crappy pictures :p

Celeron 320 (stock speeds) hanging on the wall :

    Intel E7400 (stock speeds):

Demo PC in the store :

    It's a Phenom X3 720 @ 3.5ghz cooled with a Domino A.L.C.

    Closer view:

Pis from home rigs coming later!
    Main : i7 920 D0 @ 4ghz on Rampage II Gene - H2O - 6gb XMS3 1680mhz C9 - GTX 580
    Sossaman : Dual Yonah @ 2.0ghz
    Server: 1055T 6 core @ 3.6ghz - air cooled - 16gb KVR1333 - 8 x 1TB Caviar Black
    HTPC : i5 760 @ 4ghz on Maximus III Gene - H2O - 8gb KVR1333 - GTX275 - 80GB X25-M G2 + 4 x 2.5" Caviar Black 500GB @ 7200RPM

Just the E6300. I'm crash-testing it for stability once more. I had problems at 4GHz earlier. I ran at 3.5 for a week and since retried 4.0, but that failed quickly (BSOD/reboot).

    Pentium E6300 @ 400*9.5=3.8GHz
    Scythe Mugen-1
    2x2GB A-DATA Vitesta Extreme Edition
    2x1GB Wintec AMPX
    Abit IP35-E
    Diamond Radeon HD 3850 256MB
    Corsair 750TX
    WD Caviar SE16 320GB
    WD Caviar Blue 320GB
    WD Caviar Black 1TB

If anyone wants to send me $93 (or $113), I can buy a cheap G31 (or G41) barebones from Foxconn. I have enough parts to drop my E2140, 1GB DDR2, and a hard drive into. Is it still possible to run WCG on an Ubuntu LiveCD? I've got a mostly unused 1GB flash drive that could come in handy if that was possible. I really want to get the E2140 up and I think I could get the A64 up too given an RMA. Heck, could probably upgrade that system to an Athlon II X4, though that's secondary methinks to the E2140.

You can install Dotsch Ubuntu Boinc to a USB stick and run from there. I did for awhile and it works.

Motox - are you allowed to run it on all of those computers on display? Cuz that looks like a decent amount of corz...

Otis11, I didnt get that 'corz'?

But yeah, I am allowed to run it on those rigs, I basically built the place :p

Edit: Oh, I think you meant those computers on the top shelf. Those aren't computers, they are only cases on display, I wish there was a cpu in those!

Main rig. Phenom II 955BE with a 4870. CPU is at stock, I couldn't figure out this new fangled architecture or something, got so confused trying to get anywhere and gave up... yeah I need to try again 4870 has a slight overclock, the max that CCC would allow.

Work area. Dirty because I've torn open the ceiling above, working on the electrical in the room. Crunchers are down below in the corner. They all plug into the KVM there in the desk and the network switch underneath it. That Sceptre 19" LCD is a repaired one, I fix LCD monitors as part of my hobby I have 4 other repaired LCD monitors on the white table to the right (can see the corner of it in the pic). Also work on random laptops too, hence the stack of those. Older machines, one doesn't work and is a spare parts one, another is a P3 notebook, or should I say the "original" netbook - IBM X30, small and light 12" screen.

Fold4 and Fold1. Fold1 is a Q6600 @ 3.2GHz and a GTX260-216. Fold4 has a Q6600 @ stock and two GTX260-216s. CPU is stock because the HR-01 plus has a crappy mounting system and temps aren't so great even at stock, 10+C difference between cores. Not sure what I'm going to do about that. Got the board, CPU, and heatsink from someone as a bundle package.

Around the corner is my dual Sammy box. Fold2 and Fold3 are both dual Sossaman 2GHz units in that one cardboard box Next to it in the black case (really hard to see) is an old Athlon64 3700+ with a 9600GSO in it.

Everything is running, just the camera flash made the fans appear stopped.

    moar corz = more cores.

haha, honestly it's me typing way to fast for my own good and not spell checking anything. If the auto correct doesn't catch it, you see it.

So long as there's an English (or Grenglish) option available, that's a definite option. I do have two or three older IDE hard drives. If memory serves, a 500MB (out of an old Pentium; I also have a S3 Virge and Voodoo2 from it), an 8.4GB (out of an old Pentium II-400), and an 80GB (out of my old PGA478 Celeron 2GHz).

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...TabStoreType=1

I'm seriously thinking about that $80 barebone; I would have no problem yanking the 2x1GB kit if it meant getting 2-3 more cores up and running. I still need to RMA an Asrock (AM2+ 780GX) board and an OCZ power supply (500W SXS)

Yes English it is. I have used 20 gig drives with Ubuntu and Boinc. So 80 is more than enough.

I'm assuming that the 8.4 will also work? Main aim is to keep costs as low as possible, translating into the 1GB for each system and either that sort diskless setup (2GB flash drives for <$10/ea) or possibly WinXP Pro. The A64's likely to get the 3850 when I'm done with it and, as I don't have any modern LP gfx, the E2140'll probably be stuck on GMA X3100 or, if I find $20, GMA 4500HD

    1 4X Opteron 8346 on the bottom

Athlon II x4 620 on the top. Have not tried to OC it yet. I wanted to get some baseline results for people to use as reference when shopping.

I'm also running WCG on my families computer, an E2200.

You should move the fans out of the way and put badass Mr. T next to the badass MB and retake pic. Show off those 4 quad cores!

With 12 core CPUs around the corner my dual quads are already looking lame. Enjoy while ya can!

Man i love those setups without a case, hung from the ceiling, glued to the wall but i could never do that! Paranoid about an earthquake or a damn cat playing with it or worse taking a wizz on it

Family Rig: X4 620 hoping newer BIOS can OC, 2GB, thinking about adding a GTS250 for the cold months, after i got rid of an 8800GT when my mom started complaining about the electric bill IDK what i'm going to do but this crunching is addicting.

My Rig: E73/7400? can't remember @3.5ghz, 4GB, 9800GTX+, thinking about a Q94/9500 since i don't see myself overhauling this thing for a while. New Case

Dang just realized i really need to dust around here
