i have the same case and i ll try watercool it

well I work hard for my money I work at a boat rental I paint the boats and build/repair things

and yes I am pretty sure I have a sr1 420 and its designed to perform the best with low rpm fans and to be silent. the gtx 420 is designed to perform with high rpm fans and because off that it wont be silent. and apart from that the sr1 just looks way better then the gtx.

and here is an list of al my watercooling components

    rad: http://www.highflow.nl/radiatoren/14...tml?cs_cookies

    cpu block: http://www.highflow.nl/water-blocks/...tml?cs_cookies

    2X pump:http://www.highflow.nl/pompen/laing-...tml?cs_cookies

    pump top:http://www.highflow.nl/pompen/laing-...tml?cs_cookies

    reservoir:http://www.highflow.nl/reservoirs/tu...tml?cs_cookies

and some fittings and tubing if you want me to list those as well just ask

about fitting a black ice 480 in the case. I don't think that is possible. I choose the sr1 because it perfectly fitted in the case and even then I had to make some holes and replace some things in the case. so no I think not

Yes, Highflow sends to Greece, i got almost all my stuff from there.

well I have two pumps and the Aqua-Computer Aquacover Dual DDC Top links them together so that I have twice the pump capacity.

and you could get a bigger reservoir but you would have to mount it somewhere ells like next to the motherboard

and here is the list off tubing and fittings I used

    tubing:
    2Xhttp://www.highflow.nl/slangen/1-2-s...tml?cs_cookies I used two meters

    fittings:
4X http://www.highflow.nl/aansluitingen...tml?cs_cookies 2X for the radiator 2X to go on the pass through fittings
4X http://www.highflow.nl/aansluitingen...tml?cs_cookies 2X for the cpu water block 2X for spare
5X http://www.highflow.nl/aansluitingen...tml?cs_cookies 4X for reservoir and pump 1X for a fill line from the reservoir
2X http://www.highflow.nl/reservoirs/fi...tml?cs_cookies 2X for the loop to go through the upper mid plate
    1X http://www.highflow.nl/aansluitingen...tml?cs_cookies 1X to close the loop

    I hope this helped you

    thanks

you haven't made new holes in the drive.is this right?

i measured 160 mm can fit in drive bay

    i see 4 "13MM (1/2) Schroeffitting 90 graden - G1/4" in the photo

if i buy waterblock for gtx 295 i ques i ll need 2 pumbs,2 rads and 2 reservoir
with one rad 420 can i cool NB CPU and 295 together?

if i buy black ice 480 i ll have to cut the upper plate too

in your post that you give the link for the fittings can you say where exactly you used each part?

    thanks

I did make new holes in the drive bay for the reservoir.

I don't know if a 420 rad can cool all off your hardware but you can ask it here http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...=54331&page=15
those people know a lot more about watercooling then me.

about placing a 480 rad I don't think that is possible because you would have to remove the drive bay to make place for the rad

and I edited the post with the fittings now you can see what I used and where I used it

some things will be hard to understand but my build is not done yet so I cant explain it better then I did

480 rad has Height 517 mm so it will be dificult(not imposible) to fit(we have space 520mm avalaible)

i quess you will remove 3 hard drives because 420 has Thickness 54 mm

    ok

i ll wait your built to finish and then decide for mine

nice progress, melle. Anxiously awaiting a photo showing how the mounted res fits into the overall case (I'm not good at visualizing this stuff) - nice idea!

Dual DDC Top refers to being able to get 2 DDC pumps in series in the same loop, in a very compact and tube-less way. You just install the dual-top in the pumps (see melle.k's link for images) and connect to the rest of the loop.

While I prefer to use the drill press (same as column drill, I think) - it's quite easy to do with a handheld drill. Of course it always helps to get the drill going in the right direction (I said it before someone else did )
