Ok, I found this stuff at the local parts store. Anybody heard of it before?



I think I'll give it a try and return my results.

I am about to use this stuff on my loop. Any experiences with it? I'll let you know how it works for me.

Looks good to me but does it tell you whats inside the bottle e.g what the name of the dye is and if there is any thing esle in there. If using UV blue Tubing you can make the colour of the tubing look diffrent with Dyes as well. But thats a diffrent point.

As for leek tesing permently and even with your UV blue tubing. Get some Of my uv clear blue or any UV clear blue for that fact. it wont stain or clog up you system as it is not a dye. This will allways show up if there is a leak. How ever if its just lkeak tesing stick paper towls all over the place ...

Unfortunately, no it doesn't tell me what is in the UV dye, not even on the MSDS. I looked at their site and they have several specialty dyes, some for fuel, some for A/C, some for engine oil, and this one is for cooling systems (not Dex-Cool).

Anyways, it seems to be working ok so far. I just added a few drops and found a leak almost immediately. It was really hard to spot at first, had to swab with a Q-tip and use my huge black lite. The little dinky UV lights for case mounting wouldn't have caught it.

Anyways, if I ever change up to some clear tubing, I will probably hit you up for some dye. Your stuff looks legit.

Tell you what since your just leek detecting send me your address and ill send you some yellow green in the old style 2ml vial with pipette to help you out.



p.s the speaiclty dyes aint realy that. there just the powder mixed in diffrent fluids. still the same product e.g engin oil and acid dye ect ect i was thinking of make some my self and selling them as well.

I'm still running fine with the UV Yellow/Green and UV Green dye mixture.

what is the powder you use for the blue? I have used calcocid blue or alphazurine for dyes and they have a deep blue color and only increase the conductivity to 850 nS over deionized water. Your dyes look great

I offer up a mixture of dyes. even the UV ones have nice colour when not under UV.

Green alone is the lightest colour i have but its still UV reactive.
If you check the shop under my sig you can see what colours i do have.

Im still making diffrent colours but untill there tests have finished i wont show them as i need to make shure there 100% perfect before i do and this takes alot of time.

Eg so far 15 colours Now have failed tests. (wich are not sold at all)

You can allways mix my colours that are for sale as they are all mixable.

I only recommend you mix my colours with distilled water. If how ever you would like to make a pre mix stronger e.g primochill clear , Thermochill im working on makeing dyes for them as well .

If you would like the dyes in there pure form (as in powder form) let me know your reqirements and i can sell you the powders insted. that way you can add them to what ever you like ...

mlwood i got a question. is it "safe" for my watercooling setup if i mix one of your red dyes with the feser one red uv coolant? thing is that the colour feser's coolant gives is pinkish rather than red. what could be the disadvantages in the long/short run if i do mix your dye. Thanks

I personly right at this moment in time would not mix my dyes with any pre mixed liquid as of yet.

How ever you can add a powder to the dyes but if you wait i am working on each of the pre mixes and creating a dye range for each premix range so that you can Boost the colours or use clear premix and add my dyes.

How ever this will take time to get right.

Here's my second test to see the difference in temperature.



DeMi Water + 2% Anchor Water Wetting Agent + 30 drops dye with a room temperature of 18° Celsius.





No difference in core temperatures so everything is just fine.

I am looking for bright green colour as good as colour of a lime. not cloudy or opaque.. enough to see through. I have seen red in Malik's rig in this forum.. I wish I could have something like that in red..

How could I order powder from your site? I could not find the link for that.

Hi there i would need to know what powders you after and make up a order for you.

Just name you colours and ammounts. Be warned though You must ware gloves and a mask when mixing else youll be pissing a diffrent colour for a week.

Got a couple pics finally, sorry for the delay.
The color seems a bit light, but it could be due to the mixture I have in the water now.
Which will be flushed out soon. The tubing isnt the best either, had to use some older stuff that has been stained with overspray from working on cases.

Once I get the build going and all that, I will link to the thread in here as well.

Tons of thanks man, this stuff looks slick. Can't wait til I get the water cooling re-done!

Is this the deeper red i made up or candy red (it looks candy to me lol). I think it would do with more purple adding in to the mix to create a deeper red. How ever saying that i just receved a new red wich i havent tested yet wich is nealy blood red. This stuff is the same stregh and blue no 2 as in 1 drop is fine 3 drops is going mental.

Ill run tests next week and see how it pans out and if it suitable and passes the basic tests i do i can send you a samples of pre test mix. (not retail). To hit retail will take a few weeks of througher testing.

P.s i just receved a slap for looking at them pics (adult frend finder adverts in the page) .....

Yes this is the deeper red you sent. If you need, I can find the paper you sent with for the specifics on it.
Like I said, the coloring could be off a bit due to whats in the water now and I had to use quite a bit to get it to reach that color of red. Which does look sweet as he** imo.
If you do get something in a deeper red I would be interested in giving it a go when I re-build. Which I'm hoping won't be too much longer.

No sorry candy red is not UV responsive how ever the dye IFMU is showing is. How ever that was a 1 off request from IFMU. I do make dyes for people for sepcial order.

I have never come across a Decent UV red and i dont know if its possable to make a Perfect UV red nither.

mayhem, i got 3 RGB colors from you.. here is my feedback

one drop of green and one drop of blue

2 drops of red


3 drops of red


for me, one drop of blue in one litr of water was good enough and 3 drops of red in 500 ml of water. The camera didnt do justice with the colors. I personally really liked the red and blue.

I personally didnt like the green.. I wasnt deep and darker enough like the way the color blue is.

that looks to me as though its yellow / green. Green is greener and darker. All though its still a weeker colour.
