I just need to change the RES position when the i5 comes, the MoBo is wider.
The exit of the REs would touch the DIMM's.... and add a top exhaust fan.

Socket 775 is still plenty enough for even gaming, current games don't even utilise it to full power.
I've been meaning to update my stoneage Q6600 with something more powerfull, but there's no
point in it now. i7 = too hot, 5i = not that big of an improvement over the Q. I'll wait for the next
goodie shipment from intel.

Quite true, actually. My biggest apprehension about not going to S1156 is a little quam with buying 6-8GB DDR3 1600 CL8; it's too expensive right now. RAM overkill is the definition of my system right now, and it works pretty darn well. I'd sooner buy a HD5700 or HD5800 than grab a Core i5-750, 8GB DDR3, a new board, AND a new gfx card.

I was very fortunate to have been commissioned to build a large wooden tower case, to be used to hold a very large water cooled rig.

The case was designed to contain an EATX motherboard, seven 5.25-inch drives and eight 3.5-inch hard drives.

Two water cooling loops will be installed, with two 120.4 radiators mounted in the top chamber, expelling warm air through the perforated aluminum. Each chamber is fed with cool air from the bottom of the case via an air duct formed by the solid front panel.

That looks fantastic. I think I would prefer it w/ a lighter stain instead of the black. But still is awesome nevertheless. Hopefully it remains clean after the build is complete.

No offense to anyone, but there are just too many TJ07 + MurderMod setups. I love that case with a passion, but when I see it every other post from like 95 different people with the same sleeve + tubing colors etc, it's gets old... like really fast.

I wanna see something different.
