if instant fail in blend test, most likely due to nb/ram freq too high. may i know which version is ya dhx? i have d same model & d revision is 3.2, which according to corsair forum is using micron ic. d9kpt/v perhaps.

    i have rev 1.8 set with qimonda ics, running 7-7-7-24-28 1600 @ 1.80v.

nb freq was near stock.. before this newest beta i wasnt even able to post @ 1800, and now it's booting straight into windows at stock volts..

wow... i'm kinda impressed with ya ram coz from what i know qimonda doesn't really like tight timing & u managed a 1600 @ cas7 w/ stock volt... superb...

used to own a pair of kvr running on qimonda ic, was able to reach 1650 @ cas9...

    r u able to memtest stable @ 1800?

I haven't tried a longer run yet, only ran memtest for a couple of minutes before I booted up windows and it seemed rock solid @ cl8. I will try again later.

qimonda = infineon I think this is more about binning, than the brand of the ic.

after tweaking the ram some more it seems cl7 1800 is the most stable. cl8 / cl9 is instant fail in blend, auto settings (9-10-10) wont even let me into windows. @ cl7 blend errors on only one core, and only after the second test.
