Did you try raising voltages or lowering nb multiplier?
I did raise CPU Vcore to 1.45..but i did not tried that with nb multi.

    L3 cache Allocation was Auto.

Should I set BSP Only First and then enable the ACC Option??

    BSP only disables the L3??

I wil try with an new CPU later today..

When I received my first CACYC AC 620 chip I was having trouble with bios post with one of am2+ Asrock mobos, back then there was no strong and acc modified bios available so much more tweaking was required (X3 720, X4 810 etc)...

    So my procedure:

Power on -> enter bios -> L3 cache allocation -> BSP Only (first core gets whole L3 cache) -> save and exit -> enter bios -> ACC Auto -> save and exit

In this way bios post, if L3 cache allocation AUTO or All Cores -> no bios post, reset button required... Now with new bios versions most of Asrock mobos don't have that problems anymore but not all are fixed...

But if your boot guard doesn't reset bios to defaults something is defective for sure... With lowering nb multi you lower L3 cache frequency, well, it is still better to have 6MB L3 cache operating at lets say 1600-1800 than no cache at all Or you can bump voltage from 1.17V up to 1.30V - 1.35V, if that doesn't help well your new chip is on his way
