Im not sure what you mean, but I took a small piece of wire and put it into the appropriate holes in the socket and then put the cpu down on top of it.Originally posted by sky

yea same for me, not quite as high. btw, did you both wires in the socket? for some strange reason mine runs 200 with only the 166 mod in place (?) - doesn't matter to me, as i'm fine with it, lol.

DFI don't have this problem. I did read that some guy with a prommy and a fsb of 266Mhz was suggesting he may be having the problem. Worry about it when u get to 266fsb though.


It takes some time. But it can. And additionally you have the stopgrant mode in nb enabled the right way...
