Pretty cheap considering the last one was sold for over $400:

Yeah, they went up a few hours after I sold my UD3PStill entertaining snagging one to play with and "collect"
If anyone was wondering, that seller is 100% legit, bought a few chips from him and sold a LOT to him.

I'll be digging my RE out of retirement.Never had the heart to sell it, and figured one day I'd be able to give it a proper thrashing. This was the poor board which endured my steep learning curve into the world of Ocing. SS with water on everything else. Never let me down, even after multiple crazy settings. If it has died, it will get mounted on the wall in my shed as a memorial to a great board...and now that they are much cheaper, snag another one!
Hopefully one will do. I've also got a couple 8600's to test as well. 2001 here I come!!Thanks again.
Always been a bit leary of Ebay. Too many horror stories.

A few months ago I would have been all over that.
But it is hard to justify now that i3 530 and 540's are here that can do 4.6ghz reasonably on high end air as far as dual core overclocking goes.
Heck, for $350 give or take, that's the cpu, mobo, and 4gb ddr3...
When I build my i3 dual core air system, I'll post comparison pics between a 4.5ghz e8xxx vs. a 4.5ghz i3 5xx system...
No selling outside of the classifieds -XS staff

Alright, all you lucky dogs who have them need to start posting results.![]()
Im not trying to be an arsehat but what is so special about the E8700? My E8400 does 4.2Ghz on air and only cost me about $150. So what gives?
Boy that info was old. As am I. Currently my kids have taken over my desktops. They are both sporting matching GTX1080's. Last Christmas I got everyone Oculuses and thus GTX1080's. My eldest is some sort of CSGO champion gold label something or other. Me I work and shoot real guns. Build Comps as needed.
