    hs/f + SP-97 on infinity? will it fit?

    first of all, check out this pic for an idea of how big of a hs/f im talking about:Click Here

    ok, that is a pic of the heatsink on my NF7. I had to saw that heatsink in half on my NF7 in order for my SP-97 to fit. my question is, if I put that same hs/f on an infinity, do u think my SP-97 would fit? I dont have my board atm because hell-fire is modding it.

    let me know, thanks.

    It looks risky, I dont think so but the only way to find out is to try when you get the board back.

    Im pretty sure that it will not fit without any mods. The side with the heatpipes face down, and you may have to relocate the capacitors or move them. You will also need to modify the stock backplate, or get one called a neo backplate from thermalright

    ok so the side with the heatpipes face down.. thanks. and yes, I have a neo backplate.

    I was told I will have to push the cap that is right next to the psu out of the way for it to fit. is that what u meant?
