I'm testing a Gulftown on my P6T7 and it works great up to 4 Ghz but when I go over the multipler keeps dropping down under load. I' got no problem booting in at 4,8-5,0 Ghz but as soon as I put it under stress the multipler drops down, I had the same issue with the W3520 on high clocks. Anyone else have the same problem?
Oh, I'm running the 0507 bios.

Does this or the most recent official ASUS BIOS allow a (working!) means to disable turbo throttling completely? Does it work? I no longer have my P6T7 boards in possession and if I ask for them (again) they are going to think I'm off my rocker.
The only bios that disables the tt is the 0052v. I run it on my system and I like it a lot. I don't think so. The bios was released in may and the gulftown was released much later than that.
You may want to pm unclewebb about that - he should know better than I.
